When apartment searching make sure if you have a pet you only look at apartments that will accept your kind of pet. Not knowing the apartment complex rules for pets in advance before you're approved, and finding out after you're approved can cause a unwanted issue if the apartment complex rejects the pet, but accepts you. To avoid this make sure you search for "pet friendly apartments", and then verify if your pet fits in their pet rules, before you do the application.
