Apartment Repair Fees

When renting an apartment, understand in your lease, the apartment repair fees you will be responsible for. What this means is actually before you sign your apartment lease, make sure you ask your property manager or landlord, to explain your responsibilities of your share of the apartment repair fees if the apartment lease states, it will be tenants responsibility from neglect as well as damage caused by the tenant. Knowing this in advance will help future surprises, if you clean the unit, and are expecting the security deposit back, but landlord or property manager reveals repair deductions will be applied from neglect as well as damaged caused by tenant. At times their have been apartment cases where the apartment repair fees exceed the security deposit, so ask before you sign the apartment lease, your apartment repair responsibilities.
